First off, let me say that in my New Year's Eve post, I said IF I were going to make resolutions, those would be mine! I gave myself an out already!

I could keep this information to myself but I know it will only fester. I would then feel the need to lie about my health plans, etc, etc. In the interests of dieting naked, I will be honest.

I have gained 10 pounds from my lowest weight of 2007, last seen at the end of October.

Yes, October. That means I can't really call it holiday weight, unless I can count Halloween. It's actually scary to re-read that post, because I wrap it up by saying

"I don't want to end up 3 months from now with 10 of my hard-fought pounds back on".

Maybe I should get a second job as a telephone psychic with that kind of accuracy. Or perhaps I was setting myself up for failure?

At any rate, I am 2 days into cleaning up my act. Amazingly enough (sarcasm intended) I did not experience any afternoon high-sugar snooze fests the past 2 days.

I know eating "clean" keeps me feeling SO much better and keeps all those nasty blood sugar swings at bay. Now I just need to keep doing it!

I too want to be honest and post that I am 194lbs at 5'4". It is time for me to stop my evening ice cream binges. I am ready to follow my food plan and cease bingeing. I look forward to an increase in energy and lower A1C results. Thanks for sharing your truth.

Good for you reality now! I plan on checking in on my weight every Thursday, I hope you will check in with me then too!

My pattern is to get on the scale before I exercise on Monday evenings. I will post tomorrow. Eileen

I am sorry to say I have gained weight 197
