Happy New Year, dLifers! The Blogabetes bloggers have been saying their fond farewells to 2007 and welcoming the clean slate of 2008 - here are the highlights!
Julia admits that she doesn't normally make resolutions, but she is making one this year to log O's blood sugars.
Kim offers up her resolutions for 2008, which include blogging five times a week!
Scott reflects on a year of connecting with diabetes and highlights some of the diabetes hot-points in his 2007.
Andy also takes a moment to look back on 2007 and voices his plans for a potentially diabetes-themed tattoo in 2008!
Michelle welcomes the new year and officially starts her progression to pumping insulin!
Carey revisits Charlie and the Year 2007 in his year-end summary.
Nicole chimes in with her year in review, admittedly "better late than never" and discusses her resolution to not make resolutions.
And George writes about the changes he's made in the past and what he hopes his future will hold.
2007 proved to everyone that diabetics are not the quiet masses, but instead a dynamic and inspired group of individuals who are taking their health into their own hands and truly making a difference in their diabetes management. From fighting for insurance coverage for CGM systems to raising our collective voices in the blogosphere and beyond, we were heard loud and clear in 2007.
And the volume will be turned up even higher in 2008. I'm excited to see what this year brings!
