If some of you didn't mind my cussing so much, right now I'd be screaming from the rooftops "It's about f-ing time!"

Oh look at that; I said it anyway!

So if the squeeky wheel really does get the grease and if it's easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar then I just personified both of those idioms.

Since it had been more than one month since I first called the medical supply company to tell them I was ready to go ahead with an order and things were still screwed up on someone's end I decided to step in. Actually, I was ready to tell my doctor's office and the medical supply company that I was tired of being a go-between and that they needed to get this taken care of right. this. stinkin'. minute.

I've called my medical supply contact nearly every day for the last roughly four work days. I have called my doctor's office at least twice in that time period, too, trying to make sure that they were getting the fax from the medical supply company and that they were actually writing on it (imagine that!) and faxing it back to the medical supply company.

I was ready to read my doctor's office the riot act when the nurse read the notes in my chart that said they had faxed the papers twice since last week. So back on the phone I went with the medical supply company. My contact said she'd figure it out, and when she called back to say she got it (!) she said she had stalked the fax machine and people in her office thought she was crazy.

So, bottom line, the paperwork finally went through and I should hopefully receive my sensors within the next 7 days. Hopefully.

The really crappy part is that I have an appointment with Dr. R next week and I had hoped to be able to show her tons of data from Dex since my A1C had jumped. And now I'll be lucky if I can show her a day or two.
