I had an endo appointment this week that was pretty uneventful.

We went over my blood work and everything looked good except for my a1c of course. I pretty much accepted that it would not be great since my blood sugars have been high and it was only a month ago that rang in with an a1c of 8.3.

Turns out my a1c is still 8.3 so there is a lot of work to be done. My doctor suggested trying some different things and also had me change my basal rates again.

I am already seeing better numbers then before so lets hope I am on the right path now.

The coolest part about this trip to the endocrinologists was the beginning. When I walked in the nurse asked me to step on the scale.

"Here we go. This is the worst part about coming to the doctors!"

"I know how you feel hun. Here give me your paperwork so we don't add any weight!" She is a crack up.

"Oh wow," she said, "you've lost 4 pounds since the last time we saw you! Good job!"

Woah! I have not been to Weight Watchers for two weeks so I had no clue. I am going back this Saturday I haven't been unable to go to my Saturday morning meetings due to scheduling conflicts so this was a real surprise.

A well needed surprise. Let's hope this Saturday goes just as well.
