Change is good.

Like everyone, I have heard those three words over and over since I was a little kid. It was the phrase that was meant to comfort me after I was told we were moving away from the only city I had ever lived in. It was the kind words given when my company decided to not close early any longer on Fridays (which was not good by the way).

In most situations, I welcome change. I can see the benefit and cruise right along excited about what is yet to come.

So why is it, twice a year, when we change our clocks back and forth do I totally lose it? Every spring and every autumn I get completely messed up by the time change. My BG's go haywire. My ability to stay awake during "normal business hours" is nonexistent and as soon as I get every electronic device I own finally on the correct time, we have to change it again.

It is like how it takes me until about the tenth of each month to finally stop writing the date with last months number. Or how its a good thirty days after my birthday that I am finally clear on how old I am. Like I am completely out of sync with the rest of the world.

I am I alone in this? Do any of you get strange blood glucose readings after a time change? Or do you feel fatigue all the time?

Alright, I am going to lie down now for a quick nap.
