Ah, yes, Mr. Bright Side. Great. Now I've got that song in my head too.
Ha! Careful out there, Mousie. May want to hold off on the low-inducing square dancing until all this blows over. That could blow your cover. Craig - Stay safe.
abra1166 (if that is your real name) - Thank you. You have made my day.
Thank you Dantony and Penny. Hugs and pats on the back gladly accepted. Right back at ya. Trevsmom: sorry to hear about the highs. At least we can comiserate and hope for better trends. How about that. Three 7-year-old boys with D - Riley, Charlie and Trev. Playdate. My house. Tomorrow! I'm sure they'd have a blast.
If you can spot the juice box in the bottom photo, you'll see that the look on Charlie's face was that of being very low. Thanks for playing High or Low. And yes, Brunetta, I do worry about Charlie's revenge upon me. He will enjoy embarrassing me.
Hi beckasiegal. Thanks for dropping by the blog. I know that frustration all too well. I am also in full fundraising mode. Send me an email at acehotspray@aol.com and we'll put our (virtual) heads together and share some ideas.
After reading Charlie's post, we cried and cried. I mean, come on!, what are they teaching him over at that elementary school. His spelling is atrocious!
Charlie is really enjoying the whole blog experience. It's tough getting a 7-year-old boy to express himself beyond "my pump is blue," but in the end, I think he did alright.
Throughout the day, he gives updates to his mother and sister. "81 views, 3 comments!"
At 6 am this morning he had me turn on the computer to see the latest activity.
Thank you Nikki, stephbrom, Colleen, Christina, Nicole, gprospere and Mark for your very nice comments. I read all of them to Charlie as he listened with a big smile.
Nicole, yours hit me pretty hard. The way you really "spoke" to Charlie - on his level. Thanks.
Mark, hours after the fact, Charlie was still giggling over your little girl liking soccer for only 5 minutes.
Look for more from Charlie down the road. Thanks.
