Oops, that's JOG 5K, not job! LOL.
Thanks, all. I'm trying to figure my next goal. The JDRF walk is in 3 months - maybe I could actually job 5K?
I get seriously sleepy quickly for no reason when I'm high. It hits hard, I sleep hard and wake unrested. Maybe you're catching a bug? I wonder how your sugars are doing today. Let us know!
How about a Wii? The My Fitness Coach is quite good and more interactive than a DVD. Have you seen the t-shirt of the skeletons lying on chaise lounges? "But... it's a DRY heat!" LOL.
Very well done George! Cuteness! I forced myself to get more ambidextrous by putting my computer mouse on the left side. It seems to be working!
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks Lindsey.
Kinget is right - You Rock! Congrats on the award - and hey, Bette has (usually) red hair like carrot top anyway!
And I like the way you wrote this, it's all like, super modest and stuff.
Thanks Sara! It's amazing how motivating pats on the back are too!
Hi anon4life. SOrry for the delay, I've been out of town. You can look for a support group here http://www.defeatdiabetes.org/self_management/text.asp?id=So_Cal_Supp_Grps But I highly recommend the dLife forums, I have gotten tremendous help there. There's even a specific 'newly diagnosed' forum that you can find here: http://www.dlife.com/diabetes-forum/viewforum.php?f=4&sid=3f66c9a618d483dc95a35c9331ec9a80 Or just click on Diabetes Forums in the top row of icons on this page. Good luck!

Julia lives behind the Tofu Curtain, in the Pioneer Valley, in Western Massachusetts. It's a nice place. She likes it there. Her eldest daughter, Olivia, has type 1 diabetes. She's also 13. It's a real toss-up as to which is more difficult -- the diabetes or the teen-age drama. (Read More)
Wow, those are some tall orders. How can you back off and not make "D" the main focus when you're doing a site change? Or any of the million other activities required by "D". I realize this is your point, I'm just joining you in your flabbergastation at the therapist's recommendations.
