Volunteer for diabetes abroad with AYUDA, Inc. (American Youth Understanding Diabetes Abroad)!
BELIZE COUNTRY PROGRAM
March, 2008 (final dates pending)
Collaborate with the National Belize Diabetes Educators Organization to coordinate and implement the first Train the Trainer Diabetes Educator Course for local nurses and doctors. Help facilitate the formation of a network support system between local health care professionals & youth with diabetes.

ECUADOR COUNTRY PROGRAM
July 8-28, 2008
Travel to Quito in our longest established program as you collaborate with the Fundación Diabetes Juvenil del Ecuador (FDJE) to conduct provincial outreach projects with youth leaders and work as a counselor at Ecuador's national diabetes camp, Campo Amigo.
Spanish-speaking program
BERMUDA COUNTRY PROGRAM

Collaborate with the Bermuda Diabetes Association as a "camp consultant" and work in a beatiful location as a counselor at Bermuda's growing Camp Honey Bee for children with diabetes.
