ADA SUMMER CAMP'S GOALS are to provide children who have diabetes with:
A fun and safe camping experience.
An emphasis on achieving good control of diabetes while adjusting to daily activities.
An opportunity to develop confidence in their management of diabetes.
Education about diabetes in an informal setting.

Camp Rainbow Day Camp will be held in August 2005, exact dates to be determined, from 9am to 3pm. Cost is $65. Camp is held at Hopkins Point Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park A.

Camp LADD of Cortland is a day camp for children with Diabetes. Geared for children 5 to 13 years old with opportunities for those younger and older to participate. Activities will be field trips and swimming and other fun things. We will have guest speakers, science exams, and video programing.

Camp Hickory has 2 – 1 week sessions for children with type 1 diabetes, ages 6 – 12. Camp dates for 2008 are July 7 - 11 and July 14 - 18. The camp is staffed with mature adults and professionals in the field of diabetes. All the staff are trained about working with children and diabetes health issues.
