Camp Granada has all the beauty and excitement of any summer camp. At Camp Granada we offer most of the traditional camping activities. And we also offer the opportunity for children with diabetes to receive special training in a recreational setting.

Triangle D Camp is held at YMCA Camp Duncan, a 400 acre setting on semi-private Fish Lake on Route 12 just north of Route 120 in Ingleside, Illinois. Triangle D Camp combines a program of summer activities with a program of diabetes education and support. Both components are designed to challenge each child to reach toward their maximum potential, both mentally and physically. The campers are actively involved in managing their diabetes.

The American Diabetes Association Teen Adventure Camp resident program is located at the YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside, Illinois. Camp dates are August 3 - August 9, 2008. Boating, swimming, archery, crafts, singing, big games, high ropes teams course, outdoor movie night, roller skating outing and opportunity to select the diabetes education presentations in which camper want to participate. ADA provides the volunteer medical staff. The camp provides their well-trained program, counseling and kitchen staff. Parents meet and greet each other at the medical staff check-in for their campers. Guided by an attending physician with extensive experience in the adjustment of insulin, diet and activity components, medical care and supervision are provided by a conscientious group of resident physicians, nurses and dietitians. Campers are seen several times daily for insulin adjustments and blood glucose checking appropriate for daily activities. Teen Adventure Camp combines a program of summer activities with a program of diabetes education and support.
