Camp AZDA

Camp AZDA at Friendly Pines Camp provides kids with diabetes in Arizona an excellent camping experience. The aim of Camp AZDA is to provide the child or teen with diabetes a memorable recreational and educational experience. The main goal of the camp is to have fun! Campers will have the opportunity to learn more about monitoring, insulin administration, meal planning and exercise. Camp AZDA is co-educational with the Main Camp having a program for youngsters seven to twelve years and a Young Teen Program for adolescents aged 12 to 14 years

Camp Casey, “The Sedona Way”, is all about inspiring kids with diabetes to lead a healthy, happy normal life! The camp is held at Living Springs Camp in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon surrounded by the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. In this magnificent setting, children with diabetes have fun and make new friends while learning how to overcome their fears and live long and healthy lives!
