October 11th 2008 - Minneapolis Diabetes EXPO will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

October 23rd 2008 - Support Group for Dealing with Diabetes invites the public to their monthly meeting in Oneonta, NY. Guest speakers will be at every meeting. Discussions start at 7 PM and wraps up around 8:30 PM. Group meets at the Elm Park Methodist Church located at 401 Chestnut Street Oneonta, NY 13820. October 25th 2008 - Diabetes Day of Hope: If you have diabetes, pre-diabetes or if you have diabetes in your family, you don’t want to miss this program. This program is based on the philosophy that every person with diabetes and prediabetes is entitled to normal blood sugars as a person without diabetes. Location is Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois.
