November 5th 2008 - Harrison's Heroes T-1 Luminaries Lighting: The Luminaries Lighting will occur once a year during Diabetes Awareness Month. This year he has set forth two goals; first, to organize the largest JDRF walk team in the nation and second, to build awareness for the millions of kids with T-1 Diabetes. All proceeds go to JDRF. November 8th 2008 - Step Out to Fight Diabetes at 8:00 am in Audubon Park, New Orleans, LA. Vist www.diabetes.org/stepout or call 1-888-342-2383 ext 6072 for more information.

November 20th 2008 - Support Group for Dealing with Diabetes invites the public to their monthly meeting in Oneonta, NY. Guest speakers will be at every meeting. Discussions start at 7 PM and wraps up around 8:30 PM. Group meets at the Elm Park Methodist Church located at 401 Chestnut Street Oneonta, NY 13820.
