Daily Tips
Splinters open the door to infection. They are especially dangerous in your feet because of the numerous sweat glands that are located there, which can create a warm, moist environment for germs to multiply.
Avoid splinters by wearing socks indoors and shoes when you are in your garden or on a wood deck. Also wear gloves when handling wood or metal, in your garden and any other natural environment.
