World Diabetes Day

Today is World Diabetes Day, "the primary global awareness campaign of the diabetes community" sponsored by the International Diabetes Federation and celebrated each November 14th (which is, not coincidentally, the birthday of Frederick Banting, one of the co-discoverers of insulin). This year's theme is "Diabetes Care for Everyone."
