On November 3, 1983, President Ronald Reagan issued a Presidential proclamation establishing November as National Diabetes Month and calling for the government and the private sector to “lead the way towards eliminating diabetes as a major public health problem both for current and future generations.” Twenty-three years later, we're still working on the problem. Diabetes remains a 365/24/7 disease for millions of Americans. So this November, we want to offer you more than the usual screening tests and "what is diabetes?" primers. Find out more.

I am currently looking for Christmas cards thru JDRF that can be imprinted. We already have the ADA catalogue which I have sent a small order to but we prefer the proceeds to go only to JDRF -any help would be appreciated. We have a 4 jr. old grandson in Maine with this disease since he was 22 months old. Our daughter, Caroline Sweeney, just recently testified in Washington, DC for this cause and we want to do what we can. This would spread the knowledge of JDRF. Thank you for your assistance.
