Pick of the Week
If you have diabetes you've probably had one or more close encounters with ignorance about the disease. Couple that with a blood sugar low and you have a truly dangerous situation. One of the best d-bloggers out there is Kerri Morrone, and this week at Six Until Me she shares a story that had us fighting mad (and reaching for the Kleenex). Don't miss it.

I have been on both sides making the mistake of not being able to deal with things independantly and depending on others and blaming myself. No one is going to make an emergency out of what they believe is your problem alone. Why should it be theirs. They did not listen to what you said and the proof is in the large drink you recieved. You can not count on anyone but you, so do your best, deal with things as they come, don't beat yourself up, but write the letter to inform the company for the next poor diabetic that needs assistance.
