dLife welcomes little Ava Baker to the family. From dLifeTV's Nicole Johnson Baker: "Ava was born on 1/7/06 at 6:29am after 30 hours of labor! She was 8 lb 4oz and 20.25 inches long! We are doing great - just got home and now are learning what to do with each other."

I hosted the diabetes.com and Planetrx.com diabees discussion boards with a lady from Pittsburg. and we received a nomination for the Webby award.
Use the boards, I foundd as host that I helped some folks but hundreds help me.

Nicole, please be sure that you get plenty of rest during her early months and years. You will need it. Someone needed to "drive that home" to me with the birth of my second child, but all is well now despite my diabetes (diagnosed two years ago at age 67). My second child, now 30 years old, just had her second child. I now have two wonderful grandchildren and a powerful reason to keep my diabetes under control.

Dear Nicole, Congrats to you and Scott and the beautiful Ava! I have had a crush on Scott for a lot of years and was thrilled to know that he got such a beautiful wife. God really led you to each otherin such a wonderful way. {read yoour story in Guidposts} I must tell you that I am a grandmother of six and mother of 4. The reason I love Scott and the others at channel 4 is that I glory in the fact that there are so many Christians among them. My heart swells with the knowledge that we will all be together someday in the wonderful prresence of our Lord. Oh,and the reason I am on this website is that I was diagnosed with Type 2 in July of 2005 just after my 76th birthday.
