IRS Loses Diabetes Job Discrimination Suit

Diabetes advocacy attorney (and former dLifeTV guest) John Griffin is back in the news again. Griffin represented Gary Branham in a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS had denied Branham a promotion due to his type 1 diabetes, and a federal court has now ruled in his favor, awarding him $78,000 in back pay.

    I keep my self contained lunch box and meds in the lowboy cooler in the kiosk.When the county health inspector comes for a visit do I have a right to have my food and meds close at hand?
