How our site works
How we collect and use your Personally Identifiable Information
dLife does not require you to provide us with any PII in order to use the Website. Unless you provide PII to dLife through the Website, we will not collect any PII from you. However, in order to sign up for newsletters, qualify for offers from marketing partners, participate in sweepstakes, and participate in certain features like message boards and other chat features, you will need to provide certain PII to us (for example: your name, physical address, email address, date of birth, personal health information). We use this data to tailor your site experience, display relevant content, and display the content according to your preferences. dLife also tracks and collects aggregate behavioral information regarding how visitors use our Website, the areas of our Website that are visited, geo-location, browser operating system, domain names, access times, and referring Website addresses. We post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our Website, which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. dLife content is not influenced by advertisements or any other commercial influence.
We will also release your PII to third parties if we believe the release of such information is necessary (i) to comply with the law (e.g. a legal process or a statutory authorization), (ii) to protect or enforce our rights, or (iii) as part of a reorganization, consolidation, merger, or transfer of substantially all of the assets of dLife, in which case you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information, to any other third party with your prior consent to do so.
Surveys or Contests
From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code).
Updating/Accessing/Amending/Correcting Personally Identifiable Information

We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 to store content information and preferences. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.
We care about the safety and security of your PII. We use industry-standard technology to keep your personal information and information you have entered into our site as secure as possible. We have also put in place privacy protection control systems designed to ensure that your personal data remains safe and private. When you enter sensitive information (Personal Health Information) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Please note that dLife will never request your personal information by sending e-mails. We only collect such information on our Website. If you receive an e-mail solicitation purporting to be from us, please do not respond to it. Instead, please contact us immediately at email@example.com.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
dLife does not knowingly collect PII from anyone under thirteen (13) years of age.
